St. Patrick’s Cathedral & Park

January 31, 2017 by Lilly Pierce Leave a Comment

Matkani ensimmäisenä iltana päätin poiketa viime reissulta väliin jääneessä kohteessa, joka kuuluu Irlannin must-see nähtävyyksiin, eli Pyhän Patrikin katedraalissa. Aikuisen lippu maksaa 6,50€, joka on mielestäni oikein käypä hinta, sillä katedraali on kaikessa komeudessaan ehdottomasti vierailun arvoinen, ja nähtävää on paljon, kuten myös tietenkin kuvattavaa. I spent the first night of my trip visiting one … [Read more…]

The Avalon House Hostel, Dublin

January 26, 2017 by Lilly Pierce Leave a Comment

[Read more…]

Madame Tussauds London part 1

January 15, 2017 by Lilly Pierce Leave a Comment

… [Read more…]

National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology

November 16, 2016 by Lilly Pierce Leave a Comment

After breakfast, myself and a new friend I acquired over breakfast, we headed to the town, and our first proper stop was the National Museum – Archaeology at Kildare Street. The entrance is free, but you may donate something at the door if you wish. It is recommended, but I didn’t donate, either. But then … [Read more…]

Guinness Storehouse

November 14, 2016 by Lilly Pierce Leave a Comment

On the second day of my trip to Dublin, I followed a new dear friend through town, visiting a few of the must-see sights and having a delicious lunch, finally ending up to the Guinness Storehouse, the Holy Grail of beer-drinkers and the Irish people. Trust me when I say I’m not exaggerating when I … [Read more…]

Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin

November 11, 2016 by Lilly Pierce 1 Comment

On my first full day in Dublin, I was lead by a friend I met over breakfast. We went through three or four of the must-see sights in Dublin, and one of the most beautiful ones naturally was the Christ Church Cathedral. I definitely recommend going inside, because it truly is breathtaking, and definitely worth … [Read more…]

The British Museum Review

June 8, 2016 by Lilly Pierce Leave a Comment

Yesterday (Tuesday), I visited the British Museum. It was almost tricky to find, but luckily some friendly local construction worker saw I wasn’t sure where to go and pointed me the right direction from Tottenham Court Road Station. It’s fairly difficult to miss that once you’re on the right road. To everyone’s great joy, the … [Read more…]

Phantom of The Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre Review

June 8, 2016 by Lilly Pierce Leave a Comment

My computer broke down which messed up my plan of posting and vlogging daily from London. I thought I’d give it a try to blog with my phone. On Saturday, I went to see the musical Phantom of the Opera and I must say, everyone should see it once in their life in theatre. I … [Read more…]
