NEW, FRESH LOOK FOR FALL
A new banner.
I thought it was time.
Although, now that I think of it, I could’ve made it a more autumn-appropriate.
But I really like how it turned out. Took me almost an entire day to make it, but I’d say it’s well worth it. As I’ve mention before (here), I love the Ouija Board aesthetic. Though, I don’t own one and I’d be too scared to play it, anyways. But no harm is done with liking it 😉
I could’ve gone with black as the background color, but as much as I love it, it tends to overpower everything else. Thus possibly make the outlook of the blog unappealing. So I decided to go very pastel goth with the banner and I really like it. My favorite is the crystal planchette, which is stunning. I wish I had that in real life.
I’m also so happy to know I’ve improved in graphic designing. It will surely be helpful in the future with the blog and also Instagram, both which I hope to make a living with one day.
NOT EVERYTHING DIES FOR WINTER
I don’t know about you, but I used to think autumn was the time where nature died for winter. But as autumn has somehow become my favorite season, I’ve turned my way of thinking about it around.
Autumn is harvesting time. Schools start. Maybe work if you had summer vacation. Autumn is also beginnings. Autumn and winter are both full of opportunities.
In Finland, where the winter is our longest season, we have a bad habit of thinking the opposite. This year, I’ll try to go through winter with a better mindset, hopefully producing some good work.
What do you think of the banner? And what about autumn and/or winter?
